What to Expect

Wildlife trails

Start your safari with a wildlife trail, with beautiful wild animals around every corner. Cross the floating ‘Bridge over the Atlantic’.

You’ll learn about local history and the wildlife in this special area.

Regular sightings include seals, cormorant and skua. Occasional sightings include otter, porpoise, dolphin and sea eagle.

Pot Luck

Everyone can lift a creel to see what comes up from the deep, a crab, lobster, starfish and even some shellfish to take home.

Your Guide

Ian McWhinney is the only locally born tour operator in the area. His family have fished from Dry Island for hundred of years.

The boat is certified by the MCA and fully equipped with all safety equipment.

As featured in The Guardian, BBC One Countryfile, BBC Two Grand Tours of Scotland, Scottish Field Magazine and The Observer.
